CBEST Seminars and Information

Let the Center for Careers in Education calm your test taking fears. Our free CBEST (California Basic Educational Skills Test) workshops identify trouble areas, provide sample tests and teach you study techniques.  Practice books are available on loan.

About the CBEST
The CBEST assesses and verifies acceptable proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics skills in the English language.  The CBEST is not a measure of teaching skills or abilities.   Instead, it measures more basic educational skills that are needed and used by professional staff members in schools that offer academic programs in kindergarten, grades one through twelve, and adult education.  (From CBEST homepage)
